Midian’s ATRC-1 is a single line unit that allows a dispatcher or operator to control a remote base station or repeater using the standard EIA tone format over a dedicated phone line, microwave path or telemetry link. It also employs an intercom feature to allow the dispatcher to talk to other parallel tone remotes on the same system. With the built-in keypad the operator can select up to 16 functions/frequencies.  DTMF encode capability enables the dispatcher to perform selective calling functions. The unit can also be used to send paging tones including 2-Tone, 5-Tone, G Star and DTMF
