The CAD-300 is a computer based display and hardware encoder / decoder solution for Midian’s Kryptic signaling.

The CAD modem decodes and displays the incoming unit id (aka ANI) and Emergency unit id (aka ENI), as well as an alias, status, location and the time and date of the ANI. The CAD-300 also encodes commands using Midian’s Kryptic signaling for features such as OTAR of the Security Keys (on TVS-2 units only), selective calling of field units, radio kill, query, scrambler status and more.  The CAD-300U is the USB version of the serial port CAD-300.
