Midian’s DVE-1-MPM1 is a new Digital Voice Encryption module offering multiple levels of voice security. Midian’s DVE-1-MPM1 is a plug-in module for Motorola Professional Series mobile radios.

These include the:

CDM-750, CDM-1250, CDM-1550-LS+, GM-140, GM-160, GM-328, GM-338, GM-338-LS, GM-339, GM-340, GM-360, GM-380, GM-398, GM-399, GM-640, GM-660, GM-1280, MCX-720, MCX-760, MCX-780, PRO-3100, PRO-5100, PRO-7100 and PRO-7200.

When used with the CAD-800 additional features are available including:

• OTAR
• Over the air data encrypted using Midian’s Fleet Management Protocol
• Leading and/or trailing PTT ANI and Emergency ANI (ENI) displays on the CAD-800
• Selective call for Individual, Group and All Call
• Querying a unit to transpond back to the CAD-800 when called to see if the radio is working or in range
• Spy mode where the CAD-800 can eavesdrop on a lost or stolen unit
• Disable and re-enable (Stun) a lost or stolen unit from the CAD-800

• Number of possible codes: 3.4 x 10³⁹
