]]> Midian’s ATRC-5 desk set is a five line unit that allows a dispatcher or operator to control up to five remote base stations or repeaters using the standard EIA tone format over a dedicated phone lines, microwave paths or telemetry links. The ATRC-5 introduces interoperability capability between the dispatcher and each of the five lines if enabled.  The unit also employs an intercom feature to allow the dispatcher to talk to other parallel tone remotes on the same system. With the built-in keypad the operator can select up to 16 functions/frequencies. The encode capability enables the dispatcher to perform selective calling functions or page.

]]> The TTC-1 provides an interface between a tone remote control and a base station or repeater using the F1-F16 standard EIA function tones over a dedicated phone line, microwave path or telemetry link. The TTC-1 can also provide optional remote control of a base station using a regular phone line (POTS) with DTMF phones from anywhere on Earth. Activation of Monitor and PTT is controlled by VOX or * #. The TTC-1 is flash-upgradeable and includes automatic level control to compensate for line loss caused by remote controllers at greater distances or different manufacturers. It also includes programmable voice confirmation of functions and alarms, voice and Morse ID, and over-the-air voice and tone warnings.

To create a simple tone remote desk set, Midian’s TRE-4 has a built in 3.5mm audio jack for connection to a powered external speaker and an RJ12 jack for connection to a dynamic, carbon equivalent or electret microphone.
